A beautiful 15th century french château in the western region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine
Château Citadelle du Cavalier is a fairytale 15th century petit château set in 3 acres of secluded, walled land in the department of Deux-Sèvres, western France.
Set on the edge of a charming French village surrounded by peaceful French countryside, the château is being lovingly and carefully restored by English couple, Suzie and Roland (Rols).
Discover our discoveries
We have made, and continue to make, some exciting discoveries at our Château. We are documenting everything we find and in most cases have filmed the moment of discovery for our YouTube channel.
From old dusty mirrors to 17th century documents. Forgotten fire dogs to 285 copies of Les Veillées des Chaumières. All discovered whilst going about our daily chores.
